The 12th edition of the Hamilton Film Festival (HFF) in Canada is set to screen three Iranian short films in November.
The festival’s official website recently announced that Iranian short films ‘Khayyam Reading’, ‘Numbness’, and ‘Share of Share’ will go on screen at Cinestarz Burlington and Staircase Theater on November 7 and 11, 2017.
The 6-minute ‘Khayyam Reading’ by Ali Nikfar, a traditional music-video from south of Iran, Boushehr, will go on screen at Staircase Theater on Tuesday, November 7.
The 1-minute ‘Share of Share’ by Kaveh Jahed will go on screen in Staircase Theater on Saturday, November 11. It is set in a tent of refugee camp where man of a family protests to the problem that happened for their food’s share.
The 12-minute ‘Numbness’ by Milad Jarmouz is to be screened in a collection of short films in Cinestarz Burlington.
‘Numbness’ has attended more than 30 international festivals all around the world including Scotland, the US, Nigeria, Australia, Italy, India, UK, Ireland, Ukraine, Indonesia, Sweden and Pakistan.
The 12th HFF will also screen Iranian animations ‘The Servant’, ‘Ascribed Achievements’, ‘Light Sight’, and ‘Rouhangiz’ at Staircase Theater on November 8, 2017.
The 12th edition of HFF is slated for November 4-12, 2017.
